Join us at Kingston Museum for a Bowie-themed banner making workshop with local milliner, Bee Smith!
Be inspired by our current exhibition Bowie and Beyond, in partnership with Community Brain and Creative Youth's AMP Kingston Heritage Project, as you join Bee Smith for a hand sewing project suitable for anyone over the age of 7.
Design and create your very own pre-made banner with elements inspired by David Bowie's music, fashion and the glam rock style of the 1970s. This is a family friendly activity suitable for children and adults of all abilities over the age of 7.
The workshop will begin at 14:00 and will run for two hours until 16:00. As the latest in our programme of Bowie and Beyond events, this is a FREE event funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. You must, however, book a ticket on Eventbrite as spaces for this event are limited. If you are unable to attend for whatever reason, please cancel your booking to allow others to take your place.
