Saturday Snappity - February and March Dates

Saturday Snappity are storytelling and craft sessions for under 5's. Each week features engaging activites such as music and crafts based on weekly themes inspired by Kingston Museum. 

The session start at 10:15 am and run for approximately. 1 hour.

Each session costs £2 per child and can be booked on Eventbrite, click Snappity below to be taken to out eventbrite page.

Kingston Museum's Living History Corner

Step back into the past and immerse yourself in Kingston's history.  Try on clothes and accessories from different eras in our new Living History Corner at Kingston Museum.

This is a free activity for all the family and is open subject to Kingston Museum's opening times - Thurs-Sat 10am - 5pm.

Quirky Kingston - a free tour of Kingston Museum hosted by Julian McCarthy
There are 2 tour times at 2.15-3:15 and 3:30-4:30

A family friendly, drop in drop out tour of some of the more quirky and unusual objects in our collection, hosted by Julian McCarthy, a qualified Kingston tour guide. Suitable for all ages.
These events are very popular, so please cancel if you can't attend then someone else can come in your place.

Muybridge and the Time Travelling Camera

Travel back in time with Kingston Museum and meet Eadweard Muybridge in this family friendly film!

As part of Year of Muybridge we collaborated with Tim Wheatley , animator of children's TV shows Peppa Pig, The Night Zookeeper and Footy Pups to create this short film all about Eadweard Muybridge.
