Be a Volunteer Steward for Kingston 2025!

Are you passionate about connecting with others and interested in local culture and history? Be part of something special by volunteering as a steward for Kingston 2025’s cultural programme. We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic individuals to help bring our events to life and make sure visitors have a memorable experience.

As a steward, you’ll be supporting event teams by welcoming guests, guiding crowds, and offering information—all while soaking up the atmosphere and contributing to Kingston’s vibrant cultural celebrations

  • Athel's Town Tournament, Canbury Gardens – Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 July
     

  • River Cultures Festival, Canbury Gardens, Thames Side, Eagle Brewery Wharf – Saturday 6 September
     

  • Kingston Carnival, Kingston Town Centre– Sunday 7 September
     

No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and community spirit! This is a great opportunity to meet new people, gain event experience, and be part of something special in Kingston.

Make Culture More Accessible – Volunteer to Support Visually Impaired Visitors at Kingston 2025

Are you passionate about helping others and believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the arts? We’re looking for volunteer stewards to support people who are visually impaired as they experience the events of Kingston 2025.

As a trained accessibility steward, you’ll help individuals get the most out of their chosen events by:

  • Guiding them through busy or unfamiliar venues
     

  • Providing descriptions of visual elements to enhance their experience
     

  • Offering friendly support and companionship throughout the event
     

Full training will be provided by Kingston Association for the Blind, so you’ll feel confident and prepared in your role. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact, connect with others, and be part of a cultural celebration that’s welcoming to all.
