Drumming Performance and Workshop

Date Saturday 14 September

Time 14.00-15.30

Venue

Kingston Museum garden

Join us for an exhilarating afternoon of drumming at the Kingston Museum (2-3:30pm). Kingston Community Drumming will do a 30min performance where we will play Afro Brazilian music. This will be followed by a 45min fun, engaging and interactive workshop where children and adults will learn how to play several rhythms such as Samba, Reggae or Funk and play together as a band. Our drumming workshops are not only about learning music, but about fostering human connections, improving physical, mental and social wellbeing, and having a shared experience of joy and accomplishment. The workshop is open to all, no experience needed. Kingston Community Drumming is a non-profit organisation offering drumming workshops in Kingston for children and adults across the borough as well as wellbeing drumming programs for local charities, and entertainment at community events.

Workshop is open to all ages, no experience needed
