Kingston Museum's current exhibition:
Kingston Glamour: Art, Innovation and the Suburbs
Come and rediscover Kingston’s glamorous reputation for late night cabaret, race cars and fashion and how it led the way in architecture and modern interior design. Focusing on the 1920s to 1970s, and encompassing Art Deco, the Ace of Spades nightclub on the Kingston Bypass, Suburban Modernism, and Mary Quant and the Swinging Sixties, this exhibition will celebrate Kingston’s starring role in the enterprising history of the Suburbs.
This exhibition was made possible thanks to generous funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Museum Development London (MDL)The exhibition is FREE to view, subject to Kingston Museum opening times - Thursday to Saturday 10 am - 5 pm.

The community display case is available to Royal Borough of Kingston’s residents, artists, makers, community groups and local schools.
This is a great way to showcase your artwork, project or organisation. Each display typically stays up for a month, and the case is located in the heart of Kingston Museum.
