KMS Freelance Music Tutor Panel

Kingston Music Service (KMS) Music Tutor Panel is a panel of talented and passionate music educators who are offered freelance work in Kingston Schools and KMS music centres. Most work is taught across 30 weeks of the year in line with the KMS term dates.

See our "What is the KMS Freelance Tutor Panel" for more details. Please note, in order to be paid as a freelance tutor as a sole trader, you will need to have a business bank account for funds to be paid into.

We are always happy to hear from musicians who would like to join the panel. Specialisms we are expecially looking for currently are listed below and will also be posted on the Music Mark Jobs website.:

Guitar & Piano tutors

The friendly team at Kingston Music Service is looking to add talented and enthusiastic tutors to their Freelance Music Tutor Panel. We are currently looking for tutors to:

  • Teach acoustic & electric guitar (plus classical & bass guitar if possible) at our Hook Music Centre on a Saturday morning, plus at schools and music centres across the borough as need arises, (Start Feb 2025)

  • Teach piano at schools and music centres across the borough especially on a Saturday, (Start Apr 2025)

Kingston Music Service is a member of South West London Music Ltd, who is the Hub Lead Organisation of the South West London Music Education Hub. This group of organisations including schools, arts organisations, community or voluntary organisations, working together to create joined-up music education provision, respond to local need and fulfil the objectives of the Hub as set out in the National Plan for Music Education.
