In 1963, Arthur Pan was commissioned to paint a portrait of Elizabeth II, in Full Regalia on 7 April 1964, Granting the Charter to the Newly Created London Borough of Kingston upon Thames. Taking this work as a starting point, join us for a public lecture that will explore how the royal portraiture of Queen Elizabeth II has evolved from the 1950s until her Platinum Jubilee.
